The candle power is exceedingly sensitive to many factors (e.g.: a light source out of focus by 1/32 inch, under-voltage of only 4%, differences between bulb manufacturers). Incompatibility or technical errors result in a reduction of range. For a concentrated beam, long range, bright light and a long life we recommend the Quarz-Halogen bulbs.
